Chelsea defeated Arsenal today in Baku, Azerbaijan to win the UEFA Europa league title. Chelsea who gave manager Maurizio Sarri the first trophy of his career, defeated Arsenal 4-1 to win the Europa league title.
Olivier Giroud opened the scoring against his old club with a wonderful header, and Pedro swept past the retiring Petr Cech from Hazard’s cross. Hazard scored a penalty to make it 3-0. However just after Alex Iwobi gave Arsenal hope with a swerving 20-yard strike, Hazard smashed home Giroud’s cross to seal it the win for against their rival.
The win will see Arsenal miss out on a Champions League place next season.
