Jesus said that one day, men will have to give account for their words. Why? I believe its because words are containers of power. Words carry creative or destructive power and anytime we are given power, there must also be responsibility and
accountability. Often time, people want power to play with and not power to be responsible for, but every child of God must realize that God has given us words and he expects us to be accountable for the power that is carried in them and the consequences of wasting that power in idle speaking.
